–  RIPPLING WATER –

Los Riberos

The immensity of the dehesa and the cork oaks on the horizon, combined with the scent of jasmine, orange blossom and magnolia trees in the garden, make this room a truly unique place.

The room is named after Los Riberos del Arroyo de la Vid, which flows within a stone’s throw from the Palacio Viejo.

Bathroom

Spacious, overlooking the garden and adapted for people with reduced mobility.

From my window

You see the treetops above the garden, a favourite spot of the nightingale, the yellowhammer, the robin and the swallows.

Did you know?

The beautiful headboards were a gift from my father to my mother after the first refurbishment of the Palacio Viejo in 1983. The mirror and the table also have a long history: they decorated the family home since my great-grandmother’s time.

The stream at the vine

A beautiful walk, especially in spring, and ideal for children.

The garden

Summer dinners, the freshness of the newly watered garden and the scent of flowers. Covered by a blanket of shining stars, you will fall asleep listening to the frogs.

Walking through la dehesa

You may imagine yourself in Africa, but no… it’s Monfragüe. In the background, always there, the Sierra de las Corchuelas and the castle.
