The best time to pick the fruit from the orchard is at dawn and at dusk. Both our fruit trees and our orchard are organic; no chemical products are used.
We abide by the ‘from farm to fork’ philosophy. There is nothing quite like picking the tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes, peppers that you are going to have for dinner… or the fresh watermelon that you are going to eat by the pool.
We have wheelbarrows and baskets for anyone who wants to help out!!!

Other activities in Las Corchuelas
One of the many charms of the Palacio Viejo is that you can be having breakfast while watching a Iberian magpie fluttering around a hedge in the garden.
At night, Monfragüe (where the Palacio Viejo de las Corchuelas is located) is one of the very best places in Spain for stargazing.
Our guests, children as well as adults, like to join us when it is time to tend to the animals.
